My Story

I am Emilie Briones, an AI and digital transformation leader focused on turning technology into sustainable business impact.

I have spent the past twenty years supporting major global companies in designing and implementing their digital roadmaps. I navigated between digital strategy missions, technical implementation, and pre-sales, exploring with great curiosity the challenges of multiple industries and the key factors that drive successful large-scale transformation projects.

This varied and hybrid career path, off the beaten track, enables me to take a different approach to effectively bridging business needs and technology strategy—an essential cornerstone in the success of any digital initiative. I operate in a multicultural and international environment, which gives me a distinctive external viewpoint on the state of the French digital market. I have led numerous disruptive initiatives aimed at accelerating digital adoption and strengthening the connection between business and technical functions.

At age 22, I moved to the United Kingdom to collaborate with the University of Oxford on launching an e-learning software designed to help autistic children improve their reading and writing skills. In 2007, alongside my e-commerce colleagues, I launched the first B2C e-commerce websites for the Clarins Group in Europe and the United States (achieving triple-digit growth). In 2009, as smartphones were booming, I joined WPP’s first Centre of Excellence dedicated to analyzing and optimizing Nokia’s multichannel digital campaigns, at the time the global leader in mobile phones across more than 60 markets.

In 2013, seeking to deepen my technical expertise, I joined Adobe, the world’s leading customer-experience technology company. I was entrusted with the implementation and adoption of one of the most ambitious transformation programs of the past fifteen years: the Renault-Nissan Alliance’s Helios program, designed to build a unified global customer experience platform for its eight umbrella brands, 300 websites, and 50 million users.
In 2017, I was appointed head of the EMEA consulting practice, responsible for training more than 150 consultants. I created hybrid, hands-on training paths such as “How to Become a Personalization Hero,” combining roadmap definition and technology architecture. Drawn by my hybrid profile and expertise, the sales organization invited me to join the pre-sales team. In just two years, I secured three of the largest transformation projects in Europe, each representing several million euros (STMicroelectronics, Schneider Electric, and the Accor Guest Experience Platform).

In 2023, I chose to explore new strategic dimensions of digital transformation by joining Microsoft, the global leader in technology and artificial intelligence. I support consumer goods leaders in their transformation journey – factory digitalization, ERP modernization, carbon-impact optimization, and the application of artificial intelligence across their entire value chain.

Today, I am committed to preparing future generations for the evolving digital needs of companies—particularly the crucial connection between understanding business challenges and deploying the right technologies. I also aim to democratize access to the digital industry and attract more diverse profiles.

I hold an Master in Digital Marketing & Communication from NEOMA Business School (top 5 french elite business school), certificates in AI from Microsoft and in instructional design.
